About the event
A free live workshop for mothers navigating high conflict separation and coparenting
You have spent long enough reacting to the latest message, accusation, change of plan or attempt to pull you back into conflict.
You are trying to protect your children, make sensible decisions and hold everything together. Yet somehow, you are still being made to feel as though you are the problem.
This free live workshop will help you make one of the most important shifts available to you:
From constantly reacting to the other parent, to responding as the safe, grounded and child focused parent your children need.
If you feel like you can never get it right, this is for you
You explain yourself carefully, but your words are still twisted.
You try to coparent, but every conversation becomes another argument.
You set a boundary, then spend hours questioning whether you were too harsh.
You try to protect your children, but worry that your decisions will be presented as controlling.
You receive one message and lose the rest of your evening trying to work out how to respond.
You know something about the dynamic is not right, but the constant confusion has made it increasingly difficult to trust yourself.
This is what happens when you spend too long communicating from a place of fear, defence and emotional survival.
It does not mean you are weak.
It means the way you have been trying to manage the situation is no longer protecting your peace.
This workshop will help you change that
The Safe Parent Shift is not about becoming emotionless, tolerating unacceptable behaviour or pretending that everything is fine.
It is about understanding what being the safe parent actually looks like when you are dealing with someone who may be hostile, controlling, unpredictable or committed to misunderstanding you.
It will help you move away from reacting to every provocation and towards making calm, intentional decisions based on what your children genuinely need.
You may be coming into this workshop feeling:
Confused by the constant contradictions
Anxious every time your phone lights up
Afraid of saying the wrong thing
Exhausted from explaining yourself
Unsure whether you are being child focused or simply reacting
Frustrated that the other parent appears to control the emotional atmosphere
Terrified that protecting your children will be used against you
You will leave with:
A clearer understanding of the dynamic you are dealing with
A stronger definition of what being the safe parent means
A practical way to separate provocation from genuine parenting issues
Greater confidence in your boundaries and decisions
A calmer approach to difficult communication
A clearer sense of what deserves a response and what does not
Practical next steps you can begin applying immediately
The goal is not to make the other parent change.
The goal is to stop allowing their behaviour to determine your peace, your parenting and your next move.
This workshop is for you if:
You are navigating a difficult separation or high conflict coparenting relationship.
You regularly feel manipulated, blamed, dismissed or deliberately misunderstood.
You spend hours writing and rewriting messages.
You struggle to maintain boundaries because of the reaction they create.
You want to protect your children without becoming consumed by the conflict.
You want practical guidance, not vague advice telling you to “just coparent better”.
You are ready to respond differently, even if the other parent never changes.
What you will need
Bring a notebook, an open mind and one example of a situation that regularly pulls you into conflict.
This will be a supportive and practical session. You will not be expected to share personal information or speak during the workshop unless you choose to.

You do not need their cooperation to begin changing the dynamic
You may not be able to create a healthy coparenting relationship with someone who refuses to participate in one.
But you can become more intentional about how you communicate, what you respond to, where you place your energy and how you create stability for your children.
You do not need to wait for the other parent to understand.
You do not need their permission to create stronger boundaries.
You do not need them to change before you begin protecting your peace.
The shift begins with you x
